Friday night comes along and I want to go out so I call my boy Mafia and wait for him to show up at a little Karaoke spot. I am used to Asian karaoke joints since us Asians originated this drunk singing but from time to time I have to venture to American karaoke bars just to spice things up. Believe me, it has a total different atmosphere. As soon as we walk in, a girl walks right up to me and starts dancing with me, grabbing my hands all crazy. She was drunk and was with 5 other girls and were having good times e so I entertained her, ask her friends to control her (with a smile) and let her go after a minute of dancing. This is good. Mafia and I felt out of place a bit, being the only Asians in the bar but felt instantly comfortable thanks to the happy dancing girl. There were two cute girls within the group and after talking to some of them, found out they were daughters to two different woman in the group. I thought that was cool to be partying with your moms and the moms weren't that bad either. We made sure that we talked to everybody and sarge as much as we can. I think you should always talk to everybody. It helps keep your energy level consistent. I had a blond girl eying me so I eyed her back. When you catch a girls stare, you make sure that you stare at her back and don't look away. Make sure she looks away and always have a confident expression. The blond finally came up to my little group (Mafia and I were already talking to a girl) and asked if she can have a cigarette. She claimed she didn't really smoke but she thought she'll try that night anyways. A big sign that she was interested. I don't know why I didn't do anything to really pursue her but I just laid back and talked to her a little bit. I'm not out there to get all the girls that are interested in me, just the one's that I'm interested in. We walk back in and Mafia goes to the dancing girl and dances with her all over the place. He's been on his A game the whole night and wasn't slowing down. After a mingling with just about everyone at the bar we left to meet up with a girl that I'm interested in at another bar.
Last month, I met this girl, Bree, at a park when I was playing with my two year old boy. Yes I am a single father:) Group of three girls walked by and the cute one smiled at me. 10 minutes later I see them again so this time i said something like 'are you guys following us?'. We chatted, they loved my little man and than i asked for the cute girls phone number.
Back to the bar scene, we walk in and instantly see one of our friends so that again made me feel comfortable of the new bar that we just entered. We got ourselves a drink first (beautiful - the name of the drink) and then started walking around. Just because I am there to meet a girl doesn't mean I am going to go straight to her. Remember, you're a man and you should act like one, unlike some pussies that I see out there all attached and won't let them go anywhere. Than again, we men are all like dogs and that's what dog's do. Fight those urges damn it:) I cross her path, tell her thanks for inviting me and since she was walking with her girlfriends I told her I'll catch her later. We go to the back, the smoking area and Mafia opens up a 3 set. It's an opener that really happened to a friend of mine.
Opener: "Excue me guys? Can i ask you guys a quick questions. I need a woman's perspective in this. My friend recently went on a date and had a great time. She even told him she was going to call him the next day. Well, next day she doens't call so he calls her, and leaves a message. After an hour later he calls again and once again gets the answering message leaving a second message. Is this a bad sign?"
He gets a great response and one of the girl gives him a huge IOI. After entertaining the group for 5 minutes, the third girl blurts out that we got all this moves from the pick up artist show from VH1. We acted like we didn't know what she was talking about. She even called us a master pick up artist but I didn't like her vibe so I told Mafia that we need to go find our friend so we took off. We caught up to my girl and she introduced to her friends. They were four of them and they were all really cute. They were actually the cutest girls we've seen all night so far. They were also cool. I told Bree i was going to buy her a drink since she was empty handed. Mafia stopped me in front of them and asked why I was buying her a drink, she didn't even prove herself to be even worthy. Haha, I loved it.
Bree's girlfriend: "He's being a gentleman buying her a drink, what's wrong with you!"
Mafia: "I'm just saying I'm looking at my boy's best interests. He doesn't normally buy anyone drinks. She needs to show him why she's worth the drink.
I just stood there and let them have a friendly argument a bit and proceeded to the bar for that drink. I don't buy girls drinks, it's just that I told her I was going to get her a drink couple days ago over text messages because she told me how broke she was and she was standing there all cute without a drink. I gotta give in sometimes.
While I was in line, Mafia made her give him 3 qualifications. Good man. I gave my girl the drink and walked away for a bit with Mafia. Mafia had the right mindset the whole night. His goal was to create his own frame. The world basically revolved around him and he created whatever he wanted. It worked great for him the whole night. We walked around a bit, it was close to closing so we headed back to their girls, danced with them for a bit and kissed her bye as one of their friend was wanting to go home pretty badly. The night went pretty well. We talked to so many different kinds of people. Sarging with Mafia is always fun.
